Abortion Clinic –
Q & A (For International Patients)
Q. Can I still get pregnant in the future after an abortion?
Yes. Ending a pregnancy does not mean you cannot get pregnant again. Future pregnancies are possible. However, everyone’s health is different, so it’s important to consult with the doctor before the procedure.
Q. How long does the procedure take?
The procedure itself usually takes only about 5–10 minutes. Including preparation, anesthesia, and recovery, you should expect to stay at the clinic for about 1.5 to 3 hours in total.
Q. Can I come alone for the procedure?
Yes, you can. In some cases, the clinic may ask for your partner’s consent, but usually it is not required.
Q. Is the procedure done with machines?
No. The procedure is performed carefully and directly by a qualified gynecologist, not by a machine.
Q. Will there be any scars or marks?
No. The procedure leaves no visible scars or marks.
Q. Do I need to stay in the hospital after the procedure?
Usually no. Most patients go home the same day. However, if you prefer to rest longer, a short hospital stay can be arranged.
Q. When will my period return?
For most patients, the first period comes within 2 to 6 weeks after the procedure.
Q. Until what week of pregnancy can the procedure be done?
It is generally available from 4 to 15 weeks of pregnancy, and legally up to 24 weeks.
Q. Are there any side effects?
When performed safely by a qualified doctor and within the proper medical and legal process, complications are very rare.
